Brig Gen (Ret) Guy Walsh, MD National Guard.

Brig Gen (Ret) Guy Walsh graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the University of Southern California. He is a Command pilot having accumulated 4300 flight hours and flown over 100 combat missions including 79 A-10C Close Air Support missions supporting U.S. and NATO ground forces in Afghanistan. Brig Gen (Ret) Guy Walsh commanded at the Squadron, Group and Wing level to include serving as the Commander of the Maryland National Guard 175th Wing from 2002 thru 2009 and being named as the first Commander of the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing, Kandahar, Afghanistan from 2009-2010.

Guy serves on numerous non-profit boards including Maryland’s Free-State Challenge Academy Foundation providing a second chance for at risk youth. He is currently the President, U.S. Air Force Academy Association of Graduates, Baltimore Chapter and was recently elected to serve as a Board member with the Military Cyber Professionals Military Association (MCPA) and the National Defense Industry Association (NDIA).
